Harbour Support Services is a specialist domestic abuse charity serving County Durham, Tees Valley, Darlington, Northumberland, Newcastle and North Tyneside. They provide trauma-informed support for survivors of domestic violence, rape, sexual abuse and childhood abuse – including therapeutic counselling, ISVA advocacy, crisis refuge accommodation, outreach support, children’s services and group programmes. The organisation operates 24-hour helpline access and works with survivors of all genders, families, and communities across the region. Harbour also delivers community education, prevention programmes and professional training. Services are inclusive, confidential and accessible regardless of reporting status or immigration circumstances.
