Safe Spaces is operated by Victim Support and offers a free, independent service for adults in England and Wales who have experienced abuse via their relationship with the Church of England, Catholic Church in England and Wales, or Church in Wales. Support includes a trained advocate-led helpline, live chat, emotional listening, practical guidance, advocacy during church investigations, help completing complaints or compensation paperwork, and referrals to legal, counselling or local services. No disclosure to police or church authorities is required to access help. Services are confidential, inclusive and available without waiting lists.
