Supporting Victims in North Yorkshire is a service commissioned by the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner providing free, confidential support for anyone affected by crime – whether reported or not. They offer practical advice, emotional support, needs assessments, live chat, a helpline, and onward referrals to services like IDAS, Survive, and Pace. Help is available to victims of sexual abuse, domestic abuse, childhood trauma and other crimes. The service supports children, adults, and families, working closely with local partners to ensure personalised recovery support. Their aim is to help people feel safer and more in control after trauma.
