The Birchall Trust (formerly South Cumbria Rape and Abuse Service) provides trauma-informed support to survivors of rape, sexual abuse and childhood sexual abuse starting from age 4. Serving Cumbria and parts of Lancashire, they offer face-to-face and online counselling, play therapy, art therapy, peer support, family and carer sessions, workshops, education and pre-trial therapy. The service is inclusive – supporting adults, children and families regardless of gender identity, sexuality, ethnicity or culture.

They also deliver awareness training and protective behaviours workshops for professionals and communities. Based in Barrow-in-Furness with additional hubs in Morecambe and East Lancashire.
