We’ll be running a SASCA training course in Leeds on Thu 15 February 2018. For GPs, mental health professionals, safeguarding leads, social workers, police officers, prison and probation officers.
This one-day SASCA course, accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health, will enhance your professional development by offering you a greater understanding of how to work compassionately and effectively with survivors, so you can improve and broaden your competence, knowledge and skills and apply trauma-informed principles.
Two experienced facilitators will share NAPAC’s knowledge of working with abuse survivors over the past two decades and address many of the issues that professionals encounter when engaging with individuals recovering from complex trauma and PTSD. There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, role play, and learn from the experience of other professionals in the room.
