Throughout August, the Abuse team at Simpson Millar Solicitors are walking huge distances to raise money for NAPAC.
At the time of writing, the team has already walked 151.9 of the 182.5 miles target… which just so happens to be the distance between NAPAC’s London and Stockport offices. But they won’t be stopping there, after such a blistering start, discussions are already underway to potentially extend the distance…
Not only that, but they’ve also raised hundreds of pounds and are two thirds of the way to hitting their overall target of £250. That £250 will go a long way, enabling NAPAC to support 10 survivors over the phone, for up to half an hour at a time.
Who are Simpson Millar and how are they supporting survivors?
Simpson Millar are a national law firm that partnered with NAPAC earlier this year to provide support and legal advice for survivors of childhood abuse through our numerous projects.
As part of the agreement with NAPAC, Simpson Millar’s Abuse team will help us to provide free online legal resources as well as instructing other partnership organisations in a number of legal processes.
